The ACTOR Project is an international transdisciplinary partnership that aims to bring timbre and orchestration to the forefront of scholarship, practice, and public awareness through collaborations among world-class artists, humanists, and scientists. This 7- year project (2018-2025) linking research and creation is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

Timbre and Orchestration Summer School

The ACTOR Project hosts an annual Summer School, hosted over a few days, in different locations around the world. The most recent was held at UBC, in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
